Studio Adaptive Skins designs high-quality innovative fabrics. Their goal is to improve and sustain the fashion production system. To bring the individual closer within the design process. Tailored by weather is about creating a direct creative dialogue between: the body versus adaptive materials and using the environment as a tool to create new shapes.
We were commissioned to develop an animation to visualize the various aspects of the Marinero adaptive archi-filament. For this project we extensively explored simulating weaving techniques and cloth simulations to replicate the fabric under various conditions.
